Sarah Baker surprise Open House held

Sarah Baker, recognized recently as the 2012 North Dakota Nurse Practitioner of Excellence for the Amer-ican Academy of Nurse Prac-titioners, was the recipient of a surprise celebration of her accomplishment on July 13.
The event, complete with lots of homemade goodies, was put together by Missy Axt, RN at the McClusky Clinic, with help from other staff, and family and friends of Baker. “Sneaky” party planner was Axt, according to Baker.
Baker received, among flowers and other gifts, a “Wordle” ‘word cloud’ of an article about her. The words are counted and presented in cloud formation (in various sizes based partially upon their frequency in the story) and colors onto whatever article the giver selects. In this case they were upon an insulated mug and a t-shirt. Baker’s sisters presented her with the gifts, which drew much attention from everyone.
