Sheridan County Farmers Union County Convention draws a crowd

Sheridan County Farmers Union held their annual County Convention on Tuesday, November 19, at the Random Roadhouse. All attending were treated to a variety of pizza and street tacos, along with two free drink tickets.
The featured speaker was Tim Petry, NDSU Extension Livestock Marketing Economist. Petry gave a 45-minute Power Point presentation. That included backgrounding potential for calves, why calf prices are lower this year than they were last year, and why the spread between light weight calves and heavier weight calves is so narrow this year.
