Smash adds apple flavor to fun

The committee to keep Smash in September in Goodrich is going to smash a few apples into tasty dishes for “tastes.”
During the September Smash on Sept. 24, Saturday, visitors may taste as many dishes as they wish, for fifty cents a taste; payable at the end of the line. The money goes into the general Smash fund, said advertising chair Marlene Richter.
Trish Mindt, who was the hit attraction “clown” last year adds that there are many local vendors lined up to whet shoppers’ appetites. They include: Hazel Erdmann, crafts; Lois Rott, Kuchen; Earleen Miller, crafts; Marcie Gunsch, Tastefully Simple; Melissa Long, Miche Bags; Jenell Olson, Tupperware; Heidi Quinn, Lia Sophia; Janice Schock, tatting; Peace Lutheran Church, cards; Gertie Rau, Stanley Home Products; Emily Kline, Creative Memories; Gen Pfliger, Cozy Crafts; Freida Rau, paintings, Ashley Bruner, coffee and wreaths; First Baptist Church, bake sale; Connie Loen, Scentsy; Jeannette Dosch, crafts and canning; Karla Walker, Monavie; Mary Ann Anderson, Norwex; Marilyn Roerick, Jewelry and More; Carol Ann Mandichak and Anne West, Organic body care and jewelry.
