The McClusky School District board meeting was held Feb. 14 at the Home Economics room at the high school. Superintendent Robert Tollefson’s report included a brief overview of the bus line. He reports that all of the buses, but not the school vans, have properly working strobe lights.
The buses each have a folder and these folders will be reviewed by Dennis Bertsch and Tollefson to determine what work needs to be done to prepare for the fall of 2012 school term.
Administration and office staff personnel will be involved in the first round of Power School training that will take place on Feb. 23 by Edu Tech at the school. Two teachers, Arlin Fylling and Brandi Chimeleswki will also take the training.
The board recognized Linda Bowers’ effort in tirelessly entering data for the implementation of the new Power School system.
Tollefson noted an invitation from County Auditor Shirley Murray to all tax districts to attend the March 6, County Commission meeting at 10 a.m. for a scheduled informational session regarding Measure 2.
A program, Sheltered Real-ity, will be presented to all McClusky students and Staff on March 14 at 10 a.m. in the gym. Goodrich has also been invited to attend and other schools may also be invited.
