Thanksgiving break brings Santa in early this year

Thanksgiving break brings Santa in early this year

Santa is wasting no time, sparing no precaution, and delivering goodies to children was fast as he can. A mask covered a portion of the Jolly St. Nick’s face as he stopped late afternoon on Saturday in the heartshaped park by American Bank Center. The McClusky visit was just an hour, but 99 goodie bags were given to the children who gathered, along
with 18 more to the seniors at the retirement home later on. They are, after all, just kids at heart. McClusky Job Development Authority organized the event, but the McClusky
Merchants took over the Santa portion. They saw to it that enough bags were available for anyone who visited, with hot cocoa available just to the north of the sleigh bench under the Christmas themed portico. Parents enjoyed snacks at the various businesses open for the tree lighting and Santa event, from pumpkin treats, candy canes, cookies, to hot cider and popcorn.
