Three years but who’s counting?

Three years but who’s counting?

Without a sign of wearing out from her organization and delivery of customer celebratory events, Diane Holen and husband Scott again put on a “feed.”
They have kept good food and beverages in flow for St. Patrick’s Day, local celebrations such as Midsummer Fest, anniversaries, and annual holidays. It is always good and always different.
This time, it was the third year anniversary of their grocery store, a community need that was painfully unfilled for months.
The hard work, careful planning and good taste of the decorator, mostly Diane, has paid off in community well-being and thankfulness that they can once again buy butter and eggs locally, without having to personally raise cows and chickens.
Customers gathered on Sat-urday, March 30, this time for tasty barbecues, lemonade, chips and pickles. The visitors signed up for drawings and enjoyed visiting with other guests as they shopped. It was a good addition to Easter, which showed up early this year, or earlier than one thinks it should.
Winners of the drawings for Easter baskets were Mike Bowers, Trista Crimmins and Cole Abrahamson; gift certificates, Sara Jerkovich, Mabel Tkach and Dina Schumann.
