Two residents step up to serve in city offices

By ALLAN TINKER
Two residents are new to city offices, one for the city council and another for a seat with McClusky Job Development Authority.
At the regular monthly meeting of the JDA earlier on October 3, Tim Nixon was welcomed to that service. He completed the official affirmation from the McClusky City Council at its meeting the following Monday, October 10. Filling the open council seat is Brandi Baker, who replaces Cheryl Helm after her resignation from the council following her change of address to Turtle Lake and a closer proximity to her work. The city council formally unanimously welcomed Baker who is a lifelong resident of the county.
