Volunteers gather at Gazebo site at Hoff er Lake

With the extreme temperatures and humidity, not to mention wind, the work on the Hoffer Lake gazebo nears completion. The roof needed re-shingling along with other structural repairs. With no immediate response from a notice put out on Facebook, word got out anyway and several volunteers joined Troy Stein and his spearheading of the project. He was assisted in the building repairs by Denny Ostrom, who has much experience in this field, according to one of the volunteers. Volunteers included people helping on the gazebo as they could. Some worked a
few hours or one day, and others the full two days.
