The Sheridan County Coyotes basketball team nipped the Center-Stanton Wildcats 49-46 on Dec. 28th in McClusky. Tressa Holth, the new Goodrich Kindergarten teacher, has a small class of two kindergarten students, and one student in first grade. Myron Dieterle, Kief, a Sheridan County farmer who has been active in weed control and other agricultural issues for many years, received the 2008 ND Agricultural Commissioner’s Weed Control Partner Award on January 8th in Fargo. A special meeting of the Sheridan County Commissioners was held on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. The meeting was called to consider changes in agricultural valuations for the ND State Tax Commissioners Office, review truck hoist repairs, and finalize grant preparations for outdoor toilet to be placed at Hoffer’s Lake Recreation Area. Tina Goven was hired in October for the information technology administrator and operations officer position at North Country Bank in McClusky. Two senior girls on the Sheridan County Coyotes team and their parents were recognized at the Jan. 29th game at McClusky.
