Cougars hosting Beach after Parshall drubbing

By Suzanne Werre

The winners get to keep playing – the losers are done.
“If that isn’t enough to motivate them, I don’t know what is.
Those are the words of Central McLean Co-Coach Grant Singer as he talked about the Cougars’ upcoming gridiron playoff game this Saturday against Beach.
The Cougars clinched their second seed in the first round of the nine-man playoffs this Saturday by annihilating Parshall-White Shield on its own turf by the score of 52-0 last Tuesday.
The Cougars will now host Beach this Saturday on the Underwood field, kickoff set for 2 p.m.
By the time they play, the Cougars, 7-1, will have had a good week-and-a-half to prepare for the Buccaneers, who come into the playoff game with a 6-2 record.
