On the Cougars’ first play Nick Lee went eight yards for the touchdown. Dylan Ruff got the two-point conversion on a run for an 8-0 Cougar lead.
The Cougars stopped the Wildcats the second time they got the ball. This time a poor punt put the Cougars on the Wildcats’ 49- yard line. A couple of plays later Jake Ruff raced 46 yards for the TD at the 7:28 mark of the first quarter. The point after touchdown (PAT) run failed making the score 14-0 Cougars.
