Holsteins and Bison stop Trojans

Trojans boys basketball team suffered a couple of losses this past week. The first was Tuesday night at New Salem where the Holsteins defeated the Trojans 70-68. The second loss was at Hazen Saturday afternoon where the Bison defeated the Trojans 89-70.
The losses put the Trojans season record at one win and two losses.
The Trojans are on the bus to Max Dec. 15 for a boys and girls double-header.

Adam Peltier led the Trojans with 25 points. Marcus Tomlinson added 14.
Skylar Rebel and Tyler Wehri led the Holsteins with 22 and 19 points.
The Trojans held an 18-17 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter the Trojans had numerous turnovers and missed free throws as the Holsteins took a 45-29 halftime lead.
The third quarter the Trojans out scored the Holsteins 16 to 5 to cut the Holsteins lead to 50-45 to end the third quarter.
The Holsteins were able to maintain a slight lead through out the fourth quarter. A last second three point bucket from Adam Peltier made the final score 70-68 Holsteins.
