Hoops, hoops, and more hoops

By TIM HANSON
The Trojans played six games this past week; the girls added two wins while the boys won one game and lost three. In the district standing, the girls are 4-1 and in third place.
They could move up with a win over the 5-0 Wilton/Wing Miners on February 4 on the Trojans’ home court. The boys are also 4-1 in district play and in second place.
That will be where they will stay, win or lose, in their last district game against Wilton/ Wing Feb. 4 on the Trojans’ home court. Underwood is the top of the district, with a 5-0 record. They will stay there for district seeding. The Trojans were on the bus to Center/Stanton January 28 for District 10 doubleheader games. The girls’ game had
Madison Boehm pacing the Trojans with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Kori Nagel led the Wildcats with 10 points. It was all Wildcats the first eleven and a half minutes, as
the Trojans didn’t handle the Wildcats’ press very well. The Wildcats led at the end of one, 12-4, and went up, 15-4, at the 4:58 mark on a triple from Katie Frank.
