Hoops, hoops and more hoops

By TIM HANSON

The Trojans played just seven games this past week, four games for the boys and three for the girls. The boys won three of their games but the girls were not as fortunate as they lost all three games.
Trapper Jacobs scored 33 points in a win against Towner/Granville/Upham; Jacobs also scored 33 points in a loss against Mandaree.
The boys moved their season record to 12-2 and district record to 5-0. There is just one district game left and that is against Wilton/Wing January 30.
The boys host Minot Bishop Ryan Feb.1 and travel to New Town Feb. 6.
On the girls’ side, their season record slips to 6-9 and their district record slips to 1-4.
The girls have just three games left in the regular season: Jan. 28 at home with Drake/Anamoose; Jan. 30 at home with Wilton/Wing; and Feb. 2 at home with Kenmare.
