Jacobs pours in 32

BY TIM HANSON
Both the girls and boys teams saw action this past week.
The girls were in Max Tuesday night for a game with the Velva Aggies JV team.
Brooke Goven was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 15 points.
The Aggies led at all quarter stops and made their big move the third quarter when they outscored the Trojans 22-6. Seven players scored in the third quarter for the Aggies.
Aubry Mahoney and Jazmine Beardsley each scored 14 points in the Aggies 56-33 win.
The girls had another slow start against the Hazen JV team Friday night scoring just five points in the first quarter on a double and a triple from Morgan Reiser. Reiser was also the games top scorer with 17 points.
The Bison grabbed a 6-0 lead before the Trojans got on the board. The Bison led at the end of one 8-5.
The Trojans did a very good job on the defensive end of the court the second quarter holding the Bison scoreless for the quarter and only letting them get one shot on each possession.
On the Trojans’ offensive side, Reiser scored four points as did Goven; Alex Naser added a bucket in the quarter to put the Trojans up 15-8 at the halftime break.
