Outlaws corral Cougars

By Suzanne Werre, Editor
The Ray-Powers Lake Outlaws ran roughshod over the visiting Central McLean Cougars Friday night, going to the air for 306 yards and six touchdowns on their way to a 54-14
9-man victory. The Outlaws used their speed to their advantage for some big break-away touchdowns to pull away from the Cougars early in the game, scoring on 67 and 43-yard passing strikes the second quarter as they took a 46-6 lead into half-time. The Cougars’ touchdown came midway through the second quarter when Easton Frey broke down the middle for an eight-yard score, giving the Cougars their six points at the half.
