Sheridan County Coyotes in District 10 Tournament

The final season for the Sheridan County Coyotes is not done yet; the Coyotes have at least one more game to play and maybe more. The Turtle Lake-Mercer Trojans (the team that Sheridan County will co-op with next year) defeated the Coyotes for the District 10 championship 59-46. The Coyotes were the number 6 seed and the Trojans the number 5 seed.
The Coyotes moved into Regional competition when they defeated Garrison, 41-31, in the semi-final on Feb. 12, Friday night. The Coyotes will be the number two team from District 10 and play the 4:45 game against the third place team from District 9 on Feb.22 at Mandan High School. The Coyotes defeated the Wilton/Wing Miners in the opening round, 65-45
Abigail Martwick and Kimberly Tkach were selected for the 2010 District 10 All-Tournament Team. Other members of the team are. Devon Belisle, Jordyn Sondrol, TL-M; Samantha Schell, Washburn; Christina Jacobson, Brianna Johnson, Max; Brittney Klein, Garrison; Alanna Smith, Wilton/Wing; Crystal Dammen, Underwood.
Karissa Erdmann and Kimberly Tkach were selected for the 2010 District 10 All-District Team. Other members of the team are Jenna Bayless and Jordyn Sondrol, TL-M; Crystal Dammen, Alix Auck and Natalie Eslinger, Underwood; Christina Jacobson and Brianna Johnson, Max; Sammie St. Claire, Wilton/Wing; Jaimee White Bear, Garrison; Samantha Schell, Washburn.
Crystal Dammen of Underwood was named the 2010 District 10 Senior Athlete of the year and Toni Cottingham of Underwood was named the 2010 District 10 Coach of the year.
