A short-handed Sheridan County Cross Country team ran in their first meet at the Northwood Golf Course on Aug. 27. Sheridan County finished fifth out of 11 teams in the junior varsity division. Grand Forks Central won the junior varsity division.
Placing first for Sheridan County was Colt Touchette, finishing 22nd with a time of 17:45 for the 4,000 meter course.
Cody Crimmins, running in his first cross country meet, placed 24th finishing just three seconds behind Colt. Rounding out the scoring for Sheridan County was
