Skyhawks trip up Trojans

The Trojans were riding a three-game winning streak when the Bismarck Shiloh Christian Skyhawks, 3-0, tripped them up Tuesday night at Shiloh Christian.
The Skyhawks raised their region record to 8-1 while the Trojans slipped to 2-7 with one match left in the regular season. That match is against the 6-4 Wilton/Wing Miners Nov. 1 on the Trojans’ home court.
The Trojans will play New Salem/Almont in region play at New Salem Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
The first set saw the Skyhawks jump to a 7-1, putting the Trojans in a hole that they would not crawl out of, as Jenalee Reynolds scored a kill to end the set 25-7.
