Smalls makes All Region team

Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky five foot six inch senior setter Zoe Smalls was placed on the 2016 Region 5 All Region Team at the conclusion of the Region 5 tournament Thursday night in Washburn.
Smalls tallied her 2,000 assists midway through the 2016 season.
Other members of the team are Nicollette Cavo-Washburn, Brenna Hoger-New Salem/Almont, Brooke Weisenberger-Underwood, Abby Behles-Garrison/Max, Taylor Bregquist-Wilton/Wing, Taylor Roehl-Grant County, Jennalee Reynolds and Paige Schaffer-Bismarck Shiloh Christian, Emma Marion, Whitney Leingang and Josie VandenBurg-Flasher, Madeline Henke, Abby Hintz and Morgan Vitek-Center/Stanton.
The 2016 Region 5 Senior Athlete of the Year went to Madeline Henke from Center/Stanton.
