Trojan hoops

The Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans got five games in this past week. Tuesday night the Bismarck Shiloh Christian Skyhawks outlasted the Trojans in a girls game 34-33.

A double header game in Washburn on Thursday night had the girls winning 55-42 but the boys were on the short end of the score losing 52-31.

The Trojans swept the Harvey/Wells County Hornets Saturday afternoon on the Trojans home court. The girls game saw them winning 60-36 and the boys won 43-35.

Next up for the Trojans is a double header game with Underwood on the Trojans home court Jan.19. Jan. 26 the Trojans are on the bus to Center/Stanton for a double header game. Jan. 25 the Sawyer Flashes are in town for a girls contest.

The Skyhawks raced to an 11-2 lead to start the game Tuesday night with Krista Ulmer scoring nine of the Skyhawks 11 points.

A couple of buckets from Tatum Fylling cut the Skyhawks to 13-6 at the end of one.

The Skyhawks scored the first five points of the second quarter to take an 18-6 lead at the 5:40.
