Trojans 4th at Mandan Tournament

The Trojans settled for fourth place at the Mandan Holiday Tournament this past week.
After a good first game defeating Grant County 64-51, the Trojans dropped the semifinal game 44-29 to New Salem/Almont. In the third place game, the Flasher Bulldogs defeat the Trojans 66-38.
Trapper Jacobs was placed on the All-Tournament Team along with. Warrick Dilse- Hettinger-Scranton, Jaron Reis- Flasher, Tate Dickson-Wilton/Wing, Taydon Soupir and Evan Henke-New Salem/Almont, Ethan Hoffman-Grant County, Ethan Hahn- Bottineau, Matthew Reep and Jaden Mitzel- Bismarck Shiloh Christian.
The Trojans’ first game against Grant County saw four lead changes the first quarter. The Coyotes took the lead, 14-13, at the end of one with a 5-0 run the last two minutes of the quarter.
Second quarter action saw triples from Trapper Jacobs and AJ Ketterling late in the quarter as the Trojans held a 25-23 lead at the half time break.
