Trojans beat Cossacks Singer scores 39

The Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans ran their winning streak to eleven games this past week, beating the Max Cossacks in a district match, 83-68.
Grant Singer led the Trojans with 39 points; Trevor Thomas added 14, including 4 three-pointers.
Levi Tomlinson led the Cossacks with 24 points followed by Dylan Kinn with 14 and Connor Slattery with 12.
Trevor Thomas put the Trojans on the board first with back-to-back three-pointers.
Brett O’Grady got the Cossacks on the board at the 5:57 mark with a deuce to make the score 6-2, Trojans.
The teams played evenly until the last 2:33 of the quarter when the Trojans scored eight unanswered points to take a 20-8 first-quarter lead. Adam Peltier drained a trey to start the second quarter for the Trojans to go up 23-8.
Dylan Kinn scored the next five points for the Cossacks to cut the Trojans’ lead to 23-13.
Thomas then put down his third trey of the game and Grant Singer added a pair of free throws and a two-pointer for the Trojans to go up 30-13. The Trojans ended the first half with a 6-0 and 5-0 run and led 49-25.
