Trojans beat Wildcats

The Trojans beat up on the Center/Stanton Wildcats in District 10 action this past week on the Trojans’ home court. Tuesday the girls were on the court and were 71-41 winners and, on Thursday night, the boys picked up a win: 79-50.

For the girls, they raise their district record to four wins and one loss and are currently in second place in the district. The one loss was to Garrison, which is sitting on top of the district standings with a 6-0 record. The Wildcats slipped to 0-5 in district play.

The boys district record now is at two wins and three losses. They are tied with Wilton/Wing for fourth place.

The Trojans play at Wilton Feb. 2 in a girls and boys double header to determine fourth and five place.

Garrison is also sitting on top of District 10 with a 6-0 record.

Brooklyn Anderson was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 17 points. Kennedy Sondrol and Morgan Reiser were also in double figures with 11 points each.

Madeline Henke led the Wildcats with 14 points.
