Trojans in Region 5 semi-finals
Klemisch scores 1,000th point

The Turtle Lake-Mercer Mc-Clusky Trojans defeated the Standing Rock Warriors, 68-36, in the opening game of the Region 5 tournament at the Bismarck Civic Center on Monday night.
Kevin Klemisch reached a mile stone scoring his one-thousandth point at the 2:12 mark of the first quarter. Klemisch scored 14 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the first round win.
Adam Peltier was the top scorer for the Trojans with 19 points followed by Nathan Rauhauser with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Tomlinson was also in double figures with 12 points.
Wyatt Bailey was the scoring leader for the Warriors with 12 points.
Jalen Lawrence got the War-riors on the scoreboard first with a put-back. Kevin Klemisch  got the Trojans on the scoreboard a few seconds later with a pair of free throws to tie the at two.
Next Wyatt Bailey and Na-than Rauhauser traded buckets then a free throw from Jerome Talley put the Warriors in front 5-4 with 4:05 remaining in the first quarter.
At the 3:40 mark, Klemisch started a 12-0 run for the Trojans when he put in a short jumper. Rauhauser followed with a put-back. Marcus Tomlinson added to the score with a drive and short-jumper from the lane. 
At the 2:12 mark Klemisch scored with the assist from Rauhauser. The next trip down the court, Klemisch returned the favor and assisted Rauhauser for a bucket. Kyle Bott got the last two points on a lay up to end the first quarter with the Trojans up 16-5.
The Trojans added more to the first quarter run to start the second when Adam Peltier scored a triple and a free throw. Josh Hanson netted a triple from the right corner and Tomlinson scored from the paint to complete a 21-0 run and lead 25-5 at the 5:20 mark.
