Trojans JV Champs

The Trojans are the Champions of the 2015 McLean County JV Girls’ Basketball Tournament. The Tournament was held in Turtle Lake on Jan. 22, 23 and 24.
In quarter-final action, the Trojans jumped out to a 12-0 lead against Beulah and continued to roll from there, winning 72-20.
Other quarter final action saw Velva defeat Garrison 60-45. Underwood defeated Center/Stanton 49-26 and Wilton/Wing outlasted Washburn 39-26.
Semi-final action saw the Trojans have a close contest with Wilton/Wing. The score was tied at the end of one at eight; at the half it was tied at 15, with good defense from both squads.
