Trojans runners up at Mandan


Anderson and Jacobs All Tournament

The Trojans took second place at the annual Mandan Holiday Tournament at Mandan High School over the Christmas break. Bismarck Shiloh Christian defeated the Trojans, 50-40, in the championship game.
Blake Anderson and Trapper Jacobs were placed on the All-Tournament Team, along with Max Henry-Bottineau, Jared Mattis, Hettinger/Scranton, Connor Marion-Flasher, Tate Dickson-Wilton/Wing, Isaiah Kludt-Hettinger/Scranton, Nick Pfaff-Bismarck Shiloh Christian, Bartholomew Ogbu-Bismarck Shiloh Christian and Macauley Young-Bismarck Shiloh Christian.
In quarterfinal action, the Trojans defeated Grant County 54-29.
The Coyotes took a 6-0 lead to start the game on triples from Nathan Roth and Nathan Bren.
Trey Klain got the Trojans on the scoreboard with a lay-up that started what an 18-0 run for the Trojans. Blake Anderson scored two of his four triples and six of his game-high 18 points in the run.
The Trojans led at the end of one, 16-6.
