Trojans win District 10 again

The Trojans won the District 10 Championship for the fourth straight year in Garrison on Monday night. The Trojans pounded the Washburn Car-dinals, 54-21. Both TL-M-M and Washburn move into region play next week. In region qualifying games, Max defeated Underwood, 64-59, and Wilton/Wing defeated Garrison, 55-49.
Region 5 tournament begins Mar. 8 at the Bismarck Civic Center. The line-up will be Shiloh playing Max; Wilton/Wing against Solen; Washburn against New Salem and the last game of the day: Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky will go against Standing Rock.
The Trojans’ Grant Singer picked up the 2010 District 10 Senior Athlete of the Year and Coach Joi Anderson received the 2010 District 10 Coach of the Year award and Coach An-derson also won his 100th game as head coach for the Trojans.
TL-M-M Trojans Grant Singer and Shane Nelson were named to the 2010 District 10 All Tournament Team. Other members are: Levi Tomlinson, Max; Dan Gackle, Garrison; Jeff Rasmussen, Camden Moran, Washburn; Ben Duben, Matt Landenberger, Underwood; Tan-ner Schlafman, Andy Mokena, Wilton/Wing.
TL-M-M Trojans Grant Singer, Trevor Thomas and Shane Nelson were named to the 2010 All District Team. Other members are: Levi Tomlinson, Max; Ben Duben, Underwood; Jeff Rasmussen, Camden Moran, Washburn; Dan Gackle, Ian McDonald, Garrison; Lorin St. Claire, Dillon Loper, Tanner Schlafman, Wilton/ Wing.
