Trojans win two

BY TIM HANSON

The Trojans picked up a pair of wins this past week to even their regular season record at three wins and three losses.

Tuesday night the Trojans defeated the Cardinals from Washburn 3-1. The win gives the Trojans a 1-0 record in district play.

It took the Trojans five sets to win the match against Towner/Granville/Upham on the home court Thursday night.

The Trojans raced to a 7-2 lead to start the first set against the Cardinals. Kylee Reiser and Victoria Goven both had a pair of kills for the Trojans.

The Trojans continued to rack up the points as Tatum Fylling scored an ace and a kill and Mariah Sellon added a pair of back row kills to extend the Trojans lead to 21-11.
