The Parshall Braves Volleyball team split two conference matches at home this week, leaving the team with a record of 3-2 and and 2-1 in the conference.

Youth excel at state AAU meet
A half dozen area young people attended the AAU North Dakota State Track and Field Championships in Fargo on June 20, with Coby Antell of New Town bringing home gold medals in the 13-14 year old 1600 and 800 meter runs and qualified for the National Meet.
MHA Runners headed to state
Top finishes at a meet in Minot have qualified runners from the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Running Club to participate in the North Dakota Youth State Track and Field Championships in Fargo this weekend.
Wildcats bats falter in state tournament
The Lewis and Clark – North Shore-Parshall Wildcats continued to get outstanding pitching performances in the North Dakota State Class B Baseball tournament, allowing just seven runs in three games.
Area track stars qualify for state meet
Five Parshall Braves and 11 New Town Eagles have qualified for the North Dakota Class B Track and Field Meet to be held at the Community Bowl in Bismarck on May 22-23.
State Tourney bound
In a see-saw battle where both teams had double digit leads, the Parshall Braves had the last run that propelled them past a tough New Town Eagles team to punch their ticket to the North Dakota State Class B Boys Basketball Tournament.
Eagles, Braves to battle for state tournament berth
The Parshall Braves whipped the Watford City Wolves 75-66 and the New Town Eagles triumphed in the Battle of the Birds over the Kenmare Honkers 64-59 to set up a rematch of the District 15 Championship that the Braves won in New Town on Feb. 26.
