District 15 play got underway north of the Missouri last week. In two tough games with thin margins, the North Shore-Plaza Wildcats fell to the New Town Eagles Thursday, while conquering the Parshall Braves Saturday.
Wildcats tame Cossacks
The North Shore-Plaza High School Gymnasium was nearly full Thursday, Dec., 21, as North Shore-Plaza hosted, and tamed, the Max Cossacks.
Braves open season with split
The Parshall Braves boys basketball team opened their season with a loss against Des Lacs Burlington but bounced back to beat Washburn in their second game.
Lady Braves take two
The Parshall Braves girls basketball team took both games they played this week to boost their season mark to 4-1. The Braves took down the Kenmare Honkers 64-56 Thursday and handed Our Redeemers Christian School their second loss of the year, 72-54.
Braves split to open season
The Parshall Braves Girls Basketball Team went on the road to start their 2017 campaign and came home with at split at the Minot Shootout on the Prairie.
