Cole Hendrickson and Jaren Enockson helped keep this game close to the very end. It was a game in which the Bottineau Braves thought they would take an easy victory, but in the end had to work hard to pull out the 57-55 win over the Parshall Braves.
The game was part of the Super A Day at the Minot State University Dome that had a dozen teams from across North Dakota competing throughout the day as well as during the weekend.
For both these teams, it was like being on their home courts as a partisan crowd kept both teams going.
But on the floor, it was Hendrickson with 18 and Enockson with 17 that propelled the Braves of Mountrail County to a classic night of high school basketball in North Dakota.
The Hendrickson/Enockson duo were the only two Parshall players to land in double digits, but Danny Wells, Brandon Bird Lying Down and Hunter Lafromboise also scored to keep it close.
