Braves, Eagles lose on the road
By Jerry W. Kram
Both New Town and Parshall-White Shield dropped road games last week. The Eagles lost a wild shootout with highly ranked St. John 80-46 while the Braves suffered a setback Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke County 68-8.
New Town’s six touchdowns – five on runs by Darryl Grady – were the most they’ve scored this season. However, the powerful St. Johns Woodchucks put up 46 points in the first half, and continued to pour it on with 20 points in the third quarter and 14 in the forth. The Eagles had 22 points in the first half and 24 in the second half.
