Braves fall in final games at old school

By Jerry W. Kram
Both the Parshall Braves Girls and Boys basketball teams played their final games before moving to their new home after New Years. The girls lost to the Kenmare Honkers Thursday 59-41 and the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers rolled over the boy 78-37 on Tuesday.
The Lady Braves picked up their first win on the road against the Burke County Titans Monday, 54-31.
Braves Girls Basketball Head Coach Dusty Olson said the Braves have faced a lot of tough teams to start the season, but thought the strong competition early on would help the team mature and improve later in the season. Kenmare is undefeated early in the season. He added that it didn’t help that one of his key players was ineligible to start the season and another is playing injured.
