Braves take two of three games

After a slow start to the season the Parshall Braves put together a winning streak against Mandaree, North Shore Plaza and Kenmare to even their record at 4-4 for the season. On Tuesday night, they came within two points of having the team’s first winning record in two years against the Garrison Troopers.
Parshall solidified its spot in District 15 with a strong 72-55 win against the North Shore Plaza Wildcats last Thursday. The Braves were led by Jade Moran with 15 points, but the offense was very balanced with five players – Moran, Monte Good Bird, Justin Roberts, Dean Foote and Joseph Freeman - scoring in double figures.
Coach Dusty Olson said the team played well except for some defensive lapses that allowed the Wildcats to keep the game close until the third quarter.
