Braves turn back Blue Jays

The Parshall Braves had a full team effort against the Stanley Blue Jays in volleyball action in Parshall on Tuesday. The Braves came back from being down 2-1 to win the final two sets for the match. The scores were 22-25, 25-23, 14-25, 25-16, 15-11.
After a slow start by both teams, the Blue Jays jumped out the first lead of the match at 9-5. But with April Wilber serving, the Braves reeled off seven straight points for a 12-9 lead. The Braves expanded their lead to 18-12, but the Blue Jays inched back into the game trailed by just a point at 22-21. Stanley scored the final four points to take the first set.
The second set was very even, but it looked like the Blue Jays had the upper hand after scoring four points to take a 17-13 lead. The Brave came right back and equalized the score at 18-all. Neither team had more than a point lead for the rest of the set until the Braves took the final point to make the score 25-23.
