Braves’ streaks going in opposite directions

By Jerry W. Kram
The Braves girls and boys basketball teams are on a streak, but they are headed in opposite directions.
The boys dropped games against White Shield 75-71 and Kenmare 72-52 to extend a losing streak to five games. Meanwhile, the girls topped the White Shield Warriors Thursday to extend their winning streak to four games.
Billy Moran had the highlight of the week for the Braves’ boys when he scored his 1,000th career point against the White Shield Warriors. Braves Head Coach Coby Rabbithead said the accomplishment was magnified because those were only the points he scored in less than three seasons in Parshall. Moran played on the varsity his freshman year in White Shield but the scoring records for that season are not available.
