Divide County Maroons rush past Braves
Parshall WS Braves may be down, but not out. Though the Braves were defeated last Friday 14-40 against Divide County Maroons, they push on, undaunted.
“This was a game in which Divide County displayed why they are the number three ranked team in the state,” said Coach Mark Grueneich.”We were unable to slow down their powerful offense and the score got out of hand early.”
The first quarter saw a touchdown for the braves by Monte Goodbird with a 27yard pass from Jade Moran. The kick failed leaving them with six points. Divide County repsonded with a good run from Lance Knudson to go up by two. The Maroons took the reins in the second quarter with Bennett Lystad making scoring a touch down and Knudson following with two more, bringing the half-time score to 06-40.
