Early lead helps Braves topple Eagles

It was Senior Night for the New Town Eagles football team but it was Parshall Braves Senior Jelani Foote, James Jarski and Antonio Benevides who had big game to lead the Braves to a 60-44 victory.
The Braves took an early lead in the game which was key to holding off a furious Eagles comeback in the second half. With 7:28 to go in the first quarter, Jelani Foote grabbed a pass from Antonio Benevides and tacked on many yards after the catch to take a 6-0 lead. Late in the first quarter, James Jarski broke a long run that got the Braves to the Eagles five yard line. Foote ran the ball in for a touchdown. Benevides scored on A keeper for the two point conversion to make the score 14-0.
