First quarter sinks Lady Braves

On Thursday, the Lady Braves were at Northern Lights in New Town to play in the Region 8 Girls Basketball tournament against the New Town Eagles in the championship game.
In the beginning of the game, the Lady Braves started slow and the Lady Eagles took off. There were struggles for rebounds that lasted through the game. The Lady Eagles can run and they made quick work of the first quarter. It ended with the Lady Eagles 22 and Lady Braves 9. In the second quarter the Lady Eagles were able to turn several steals into points. The half ended with the Lady Braves behind by 18 points, Lady Eagles 39 and lady Braves 21.
