Lady Braves notch two more Ws

The Parshall Braves girls basketball team notched another two wins this week and rose another rank in the North Dakota Class B Coach’s Polls.
The 4-1 Braves were ranked eighth in the poll this week, up from ninth last week on the strength of victories over Our Redeemer’s Christian School and Kenmare.
The Braves took on the ORCS Knights on the road and came away with a 58-42 win. The Braves started out well, outscoring the Knights 15-9 in the first quarter. They continued to increase their lead in the second quarter and went into the half with a 26-18 lead. The Braves turned up their defense in the third quarter and held the Knights to just six points in the third, and started the final quarter with a 37-24 lead. They continued to pour in on in the final set, outscoring the Knights 21-18 to put away the win.
