Lady Braves speed to victories

The Parshall Braves started fast against their opponents and kept the pressure on to win the final two games in preparation for the District 15 Girls Basketball Tournament at home this week. The Braves whipped the Blue Jays 68-49 and downed the Divide County Maroons 59-30.
The Lady Braves made a huge burst out of the gate last week and building up a 29-6 in the first quarter against Stanley. The full-court press resulted in several turnovers as the Parshall girls racked up the points in the first quarter and when the first horn sounded, the Lady Braves led by 24 points.
