Mavericks good at home
The Makoti Mavericks like home cooking. The Mavs are 3-2 in recent contests. The pair of losses came at the hands of the Watford City Walleye June 10. The Walleye won going away, 14-1 in the opener. Makoti made a game of it in the nightcap, falling by a 10-6 count.
June 9, the Mavs handled Burlington 12-9.
June 16, the Mavericks took a pair from visiting Washburn. Jordan Nelson fanned seven as the Mavericks won the opener 6-3. The second game was a slugfest with Makoti prevailing 16-12.
