Mistakes beat P-WS Braves
The Parshall-WS Braves Football team lost Friday’s game against Central McLean Cougars by a score of 30-6.
”Central McLean played a solid game “said Coach Mark Grueneich.“We moved the ball consistently on offense and did very well in the stats, however we ended almost every drive with no points due to our own penalties or turnovers”
Those miststeps proved fatal for the Braves. During the first half of the game the Cougars managed a touchdown by Aaron Morman, with a 14 yard run. Morman and Hirschkorn both scored touchdowns in the second quarter along with two point conversions. By half time the score had crept up to 22-0.
“We made some costly mistakes on defense that ended up being big plays for Central McLean”.said Grueneich.
