Moran reaches 1,000, Braves sweep three

Jade Moran has always been one of the Parshall Braves spectacular scoring threats. The 5’9" senior proved that this week by pouring in 81 points this week helping the Braves to a three game winning streak.

Moran was leading scorer for the Braves in all three games this week which saw the Braves defeat the Mandaree Warriors 80-59, the Ray Jays 84-69, and the Divide County Maroons 88-48.

The Warriors proved to the be the toughest test for the Braves, as Mandaree stayed within a point of the Braves for the first three quarter. But the Braves exploded for 32 points in the final quarter to put away the 21 point victory. Moran led the Braves with 22 points, followed by Justin Roberts 20, Monte Good Bird 15, and Daniel Jarski 10. The Warriors were led by Theo Claymore’s 28 points and Chance Lone Bear’s 11.
