Parshall Braves slow out of the gate

The Parshall Braves have lost their first three games of the season, but Coach Dusty Olson is optimistic the Braves can regroup and have a good showing this season.
The Braves played three games in the first five days of the season, starting with a 91-46 loss to the Trenton Tigers, a hard fought 61-52 loss to the Kenmare Honkers and a 70-48 loss to the Knights of Our Redeemers High School.
Olson said the team has been working hard but misses the leadership of Dexter Two Crow, who is out with a knee injury he suffered during the football season and the height of 6’3” freshman Monty Goodbird, who isn’t playing due to eligibility problems.
“It’s our inexperience that took over,” Olson said following the Kenmare game. “We lack a point guard to run the show. We rely on a couple of guys. We’ve been pretty consistent about moving the ball around but we have lapses. We need to be consistent through the whole game.”
