By Jerry W. Kram

Strong play at the net and on the floor helped the Parshall Braves volleyball team win their opening game of the season against the Glenburn Panthers in Parshall on Tuesday.
The Braves took the match three sets to one, winning 25-21, 25-10, 14-25 and 25-22.
New Head Coach Misti Joy Myhre was proud that the girls started the season off on the right foot.
“They are pretty amazing girls,” Myhre said. “They are fun to work with. They did their best today and I am very proud of them.”
The Braves got off to a quick start in the first set, taking a 6-2 lead, but the Panthers were able to equalize, taking the lead 9-8. The lead seesawed back and forth in the middle part of the game, and the score was tied at 20-20. But the Braves were able to serve out, taking the first match 25-21.
