Parshall drops opener to Comets

By Jerry W. Kram
The Parshall Braves volleyball team dropped its home opener to the Alexander Comets in straight sets, 25-11, 25-17, 25-16 Tuesday.
First year Head Coach Larissa Spotted Horse said the team was getting used to a new system and had first game jitters. She expects the team to be more settled when they travel to Glenburn for their next match on Sept. 10.
“We switched a lot of stuff from last year and I think they are still getting used to it,” Spotted Horse said. “That played a factor in the game. So we had to switch stuff up in the middle of the game and go back to what they knew. We also need to work on our serving.”
