Parshall girls, boys, both take 4th in invite
Wells, Enockson, Risan, all double winners

Parshall’s track teams continue to show solid performances as the 2010 season unfolds.
Parshall’s girls claimed fourth place in the Watford City invitational last Friday with 85 points. Watford City won the event, followed by Beulah and Killdeer.
Parshall’s boys also claimed fourth, but scored one more point than the girls. Killdeer won the boys event, followed by Beulah and Watford City finishing in third.
For the girls, Samantha Risan had a great day, winning the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Her 100 time was :13.06 and her 200 time was :27.31. In the 200, teammate Madeleinne Zacher finished less than a second behind Risan and in the 100, Zacher finished fourth, about a second behind Risan.
Other Parshall girls who had success in Watford City include Alexis Woods, second in the 400-meter run at 1:03.56, Desiree Wells, second in the 1600-meter run at 6 minutes flat and fourth in the 3200-meter run at 13:14; Devanee Hale, third in the 1600 at 6:08 and eighth in the 800 at 2:50.66; Maisey Gillies, third in the triple jump at 26-9 and fifth in the high jump at 4-5, McKayla Nielsen and Carissa Severance were seventh and eighth in the discus, and Destiny Steele finished sixth in the shot put at 29-11.
For the boys, Jaren Enockson continues to pile up the points in the long jump and triple jump and Ken Wells ran two more solid races in the 1600 and 3200.
