Parshall girls continue winning ways By MARVIN BAKER The Parshall girls basketball started out 2009 in the right fashion winning games in a row. Most recently, on Tuesday night, the Lady Braves knocked off the upstart North Shore Plaza Lady Wildcats, 59-44. Parshall was led by the one-two punch of Kaycee and Shannaye Packineau. Kaycee poured in 21 and Shannaye was right behind with 19. Sam Risan added 13 to pace the Lady Braves. Destiny Steele and Erica Roberts also got into the scoring column. Kati Brandt and Jamie Larson kept North Shore Plaza in the game into the third quarter, but Parshall began pulling away and put the game away in the fourth, outscoring the Wildcats 20-11 to seal the win. On Monday night, the girls took a big victory at home against Sawyer. Although the score was 15-12, Parshall at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Braves cruised in the second and through the second half to take the easy win, 68-40.
